Freight Leads buying guide
How to choose the best trucking leads
The best trucking leads fit the customers you can actually serve. A low price alone does not make a list useful: compare the carrier stage, contact details, resale policy and total order cost before buying.

Start with the customer you want
Freight brokers need carrier contacts for their network, not shipper inquiries. Trucking insurance agents need carriers that fit their licensed states and underwriting markets. Life insurance agents, dispatchers, factoring, financing and compliance companies each need a different opening conversation.
Business contact records are different from opt-in quote requests. Freight Leads supplies trucking company contacts, not people who have requested your service. Do not compare the price of a contact record with a qualified appointment as though they are the same product.
Five questions to ask before buying
- How frequently are new records sourced, and how is contact information verified?
- Is each record sold once by this provider, or shared with other buyers?
- Are phone, email, business name, location and USDOT number included?
- Can you order from states you serve, and what is the minimum purchase?
- Is the price per record, per appointment or a recurring subscription? What happens if contact details are wrong?
What exclusive leads do—and do not—mean
Freight Leads sells each lead only once and never resells it. This is exclusivity within our service, not a promise that a carrier has never been contacted by another company. Other businesses may find the same carrier independently.
Contact verification does not guarantee purchasing intent, an available budget, an insurance renewal date or a closed sale. Ask the carrier about its needs before presenting an offer.
Compare the actual cost of a small order
DOT registered contacts cost $1 per lead and Grant contacts cost $2 per lead. A 50-record order is $50 for DOT or $100 for Grant, with no monthly subscription. You do not have to pay hundreds of dollars for an individual contact.
Start with a manageable pack. Track valid contacts, relevant conversations, quotes and sales separately so you know whether the records fit your business before ordering more.
